We are aware that scammers may impersonate loan brands and send fake loan approvals, contracts, WhatsApp messages, emails or payment requests.
Important:
If someone claims to represent FatCat Loans and asks you to send money, share sensitive information outside a secure application, or accept a “guaranteed” loan offer, treat it as suspicious.
Do not send money. Do not click suspicious links. Keep screenshots, phone numbers, email addresses and bank details used by the scammer, and report the issue to us through the contact form below.
You can also visit our Fraud Alert page for more information.
If you need help with an application, have a question about how our loan-matching service works, want to report a problem, or need to raise a complaint, you can contact the FatCat Loans South Africa team using the information below.
FatCat Loans is not a lender. We are a loan-matching and referral platform. We help connect South African consumers with independent lenders, brokers and financial service partners. We do not issue loans directly, make credit decisions, set interest rates, control repayment terms, or manage existing loan accounts.
All credit decisions, affordability checks, repayment terms, fees and interest rates are determined by the relevant credit provider. South African credit providers must operate within the requirements of the National Credit Act 34 of 2005, including responsible lending and affordability assessment requirements.
Our support team is available during standard South African business hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (SAST)
Weekends & Public Holidays: Limited support
Messages received outside business hours will usually be reviewed on the next business day.
You can submit an online loan application at any time — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lender response times, approval times and payout times may vary depending on the lender, your bank, verification requirements, weekends and public holidays.
